Unlike the past new years, the new year of 2016 was the spring boards of unlimited plans and aims. Early in the morning I had an upstart of making work plan of the month with field supervisor but was not lucky enough as the ranger was on leave. I with my two friends sat in the house which was once a guest house of Jigme Namgyel, the father of first king of Bhutan.
Located towards the right of Phochu river, the house is epitome in carrying out gewog administrative tasks. All the three sectors of extension work is being carried out there beside gewog admistrative work. We the three guests are lucky and fortunate among many to spend a month in the very house.
Punakha, one of the blessed land of almighty Guru Rinpoche is the land warmed by unobstructed sun rays from all directions. The Phochu and Mochu still is the silent river dancing all way down merging to Punatsangchu. Punatsangchu is ultimate the income generating natural gifted jewel of the country. The people depend on the river for the civilization.
In two months of attachment am optimistic to discover many facts of Punakha valley. It is on this new year I set an unprecedented goals to study the valley and find my voice to be a successful man.
